The difference between a scolding and a 'jhaad' is that while scolding is someone else's anger of your presumed invasion of 'their space' or simply an exercise of their authority. A 'jhaad' is different. A jhaad is a dressing down in account of your behaviour that is improper, unexpected, or downright incorrect. A jhaad is not of the person, but of the behaviour.
