A 5 Step Feedback Format

For Classroom Observation and Feedback:   Here is a completed sample of how I provide feedback on classroom-observation:  Highlights  from today's session:  1. Always great to see students sharing such comfort with you.  2. You started by specifying the agenda, and ensured closing the loop (by two students)  3. The discussion on petitions written by students was engaging and thoughtful.  4. You asked students to write the date and topic in their notebook at the start of the session.  5. The closing of the loop was thoughtful and shared beautifully by the 2 students.  6. You nudged the students to participate / give better, more thoughtful responses.  Things you could be more mindful of :  7. The feedback students gave in the Break Out rooms was not written by them anywhere.  8. The dialogue after the Break Out room student discussion and feedback did not highlight any personal anecdotes of what they had picked up from each...
